By accessing or using our website and purchasing any products from Varimart, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website.


1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Varimart provides educational support products, including physical school project kits and digital learning materials.

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon being published on our website.


2. PRODUCTS & AVAILABILITY

All products displayed on our website are subject to availability.

We aim to ensure all product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate, however we cannot guarantee that all product photos reflect exact colours or packaging due to supplier variations.

Varimart reserves the right to:

  • Limit quantities of any product sold
  • Discontinue any product without notice
  • Update product specifications or packaging where necessary

3. DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Digital products include downloadable study packs, templates, worksheets, and other educational files.

Digital products are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Once a digital product has been purchased and delivered (via download link or email), the sale is final.

If you experience issues accessing your digital product, we will assist you to resolve the issue or resend the download link.


4. PRICING

All prices displayed on Varimart are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise.

Prices may change without notice. The price charged will always be the price shown at checkout at the time of purchase.


5. PAYMENTS

Varimart accepts secure online payments through our payment gateway(s). Payments must be completed in full before an order is processed or dispatched.

If payment fails or is reversed, the order will not be processed.


6. DELIVERY & SHIPPING

We deliver within South Africa using third-party courier services.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location, courier delays, or external factors beyond our control.

Varimart is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier service disruptions
  • Incorrect delivery addresses provided by the customer
  • Load shedding or network failures
  • Extreme weather or unforeseen events

Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery address and contact details are correct.


7. RETURNS & REFUND POLICY (PHYSICAL PRODUCTS)

7.1 Return Period

Our returns policy lasts 7 days from the date of delivery.

If 7 days have passed since you received your order, we cannot offer a return, exchange, or refund unless required by the Consumer Protection Act.


7.2 Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, the physical product must meet all the following conditions:

Unused and unopened
In the original packaging
Packaging must be undamaged
Includes all parts, components, and manuals
Proof of purchase must be provided (invoice, order number, or receipt)


7.3 Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Digital products (PDFs, downloads, templates, worksheets)
  • Gift cards or discount vouchers
  • Items damaged due to incorrect use or negligence
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Items missing parts not due to Varimart error

8. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

You must provide:

  • Clear photos of the damage
  • Photos of the packaging
  • Proof of purchase

If approved, we will offer one of the following:

  • Replacement of the product
  • Exchange
  • Refund (where replacement is not possible)

9. INCORRECT ITEMS RECEIVED

If you receive the wrong product, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Once confirmed, Varimart will cover the cost of return shipping and send the correct item.


10. REFUNDS (PHYSICAL PRODUCTS ONLY)

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed within 7–14 business days, depending on your payment provider and bank processing times.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method.


11. SHIPPING COSTS FOR RETURNS

Customers are responsible for paying return shipping costs unless:

  • The item was defective
  • The item was damaged in transit
  • Varimart sent the incorrect product

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.


12. EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are:

  • Defective
  • Damaged upon delivery
  • Incorrect item sent

13. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • The correct grade and subject are selected before purchase
  • Product compatibility is checked where applicable
  • Children using kits are supervised by an adult

Varimart is not responsible for injuries or damages caused by improper use of products.


14. COPYRIGHT & DIGITAL PRODUCT USAGE

All digital products sold by Varimart are protected by copyright.

When you purchase a digital product, you receive a license for:
Personal use only
Use for one household/learner

You may NOT:

  • Share the files publicly
  • Resell the files
  • Upload to WhatsApp groups or social media
  • Distribute to schools or teachers without written permission

Varimart reserves the right to take action against misuse of copyrighted content.


15. FRAUD PREVENTION

Varimart reserves the right to cancel an order if we suspect:

  • Fraudulent payment activity
  • Incorrect or suspicious customer information
  • Repeated refund abuse

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Varimart will not be held liable for:

  • Indirect losses
  • Loss of income
  • Missed deadlines due to courier delays
  • Learner performance outcomes

We respect your privacy and will not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except where necessary to fulfill orders (courier companies, payment gateways).
